CFP (Call for Proposal)

The Triangle Chapter of The Cloud Security Alliance is now accepting talk proposals for the 2023 calendar year.
Email us at: cfp@csa-triangle.org

We are looking to schedule relevant talks for the coming year and we want to hear from you! Anyone who is interested in sharing their experiences as a practitioner in the cloud is welcome to email a presentation proposal, including draft slides to cfp@csa-triangle.org

Meetup presentations should last about 45 to 50 minutes with 10 to 15 minutes allotted for Q&A. Content should directly address strategic or tactical cloud security use cases. We encourage digestible technical talks that support professional development but content requiring very specialized or narrow expertise or hands-on interaction is likely best reserved for an immersion/innovation day. Talks addressing cloud security frameworks, reference architectures, secure application delivery, securing/monitoring cloud workloads among others are all welcome. Talks that address any area of CSA research are welcome as well: Reference: https://cloudsecurityalliance.org/research/"

Specific Talk Topics the Program Committee is looking for include:
Cloud Security - developments in, problems/solutions, various protocols, threat assessment, threat modeling, IAM, configuration
Cloud Automation - practical uses, how to get started
Cloud Future - forecast for changes in technology, design, applications
Research & Education - what research is happening now in cloud technologies

The chapter also accepts suggestions for speakers and topics as well. If you think you have an interesting topic and would like feedback or suggestions for developing an idea into a presentation, please email us at cfp@csa-triangle.org and someone will respond in a timely manner.
